Ans. American culture in my view is kind of modern culture, compares with Asian culture. Asian is more conservative and tough to change. American is more free in many ways, for example, the way of thinking,speaking, believing and so on. However, the reasons of different are reasonable for me. Because, I think that the whole world has many countries. Each country has thier own culture,tradition ,language etc. Therefore, how is it possible that each country could have the same in the way of life? That's why they all have unique culture. For me, american is very encourage , reveal and flexible. I mean comparing with asian culture. Asian culture is always keep people esteem highly , a little bit shy and not express their true feeling too much. That is the big part which is different from American. American way always straight-forward and dare to demand for what they want, without shy.
How can you adapt to it?
Ans. Avtually , it's not going to be a problem to me. I can accept that as long as nothing is damaged or losed . I like to learn about new people, culture, food. Ir 's kind of challege to understand people and culture from different background.

It is true that American culture is straight-forward comparing with the asian culture. Qatar is also conservative country and it's Asian after all "south east asia to be specific" Although Qatar is going through liberalization in the past years "you can see Starbucks and Mcdonalds in each corner :P ", we kept our tradition as much as we can. We still wear the tradtion clothes and the government just rebuilt the Old market to look just like what it was before. I would show you some photos but I don't think its possible. maybe you can google it :p

I agree your view that American and Asian have been long history that different language and culture.For culture, each country has difference,Asian are indiretly

other hand, they are enthusiasm if their friend comes to visit them, they would entertain him. Other traditional festival, people like to keep their custom, they are not conservative because that is a part of culture and value. Like American, Asian also has own advantage such as long culture, religion,and civilization so that people don't easily break ritual.taboo. For freedom, you are right that Amrica has high free and rights than Asia, they easily accept new things,and create it.
My culture have gradually mixed other custom, so why my caendar has Christmas or Halloween Day.
